Drift was produced for the exhibition Terrain at Galway Arts Centre in July 2015.
Drift is a measurement represented in white neon of the distance the moon has receded from the earth since the moon landing in July 20th 1969 until the date of the exhibition in July 2015. The moon recedes from the earth at approximately 38 mm per year and the distance in 46 years is approximately 1.74.8 metres.
