Wald, 2006

This series of photographs depict forest scenes taken during the hours nearing darkness. Using long exposures and some artificial light, they create the impression of an illusory space, which cannot easily be defined in terms of scale or location, resembling studio constructions; a device suggestive of the artifice of cinema.
