Fata Morgana
2010
White Neon

This work is a representation of the coordinates to a land mass sighted during an expedition to the arctic in 1906. The Land Mass was believed to be an undiscovered continent and was subsequently named Crockerland. An expedition was dispatched in 1913 to find and map Crockerland but subsequently discovered that the distant continent witnessed in 1906 was in fact a Fata Morgana, a form of mirage.
